I started off only making two at a time because it's tricky with the timing--you have to fold it while it's hot and quickly. Overheating the cookies make it prone to breaking.

It was really frustrating and disappointing at first. I was being too ambitious thinking I would be able to make store bought fortune cookies for my first time making them ever.

I was learning as I went though when I should take the fortune cookies out of the stove and how to fold.

I was determined not to give up because of how much planning and time I had already put into it. I desperately wanted it to work out well. So I kept going...

As I got better, I moved on to making 4 fortune cookies at a time.

I was proud of myself looking at the improvements I had made from the initial prototypes to the latter prototypes. I was able to get the shapes folded and the messages inside enclosed.
